I applied for a job today. Honestly last week I hadn't even considered going out and getting a job. It will be difficult with the kids but I saw an ad today for a job as a receptionist, part time evenings and weekends at a local Porsche dealership! I went in and they interviewed me right then. So I am hoping I get it. I think it sounds like a pretty good deal really and I could totally use the time out of the house.
Tomorrow I am hosting a birthday bash for a bunch of 11 and 12 year olds. I have a full DJ/Karaoke rig in my basement. (In case you didn't notice from previously posted parties) I imagine the kids will have a good time and of course I'll sing a little. My daughter requests it. I'll enjoy that while it lasts. My daughter can play wipe out on the drums so she's looking to show off a bit. It should be fun.

Stupid Economy
Well, it really has hit home now. We kind of knew it would sooner or later. My husband did not lose his job but took a large enough pay cut that seriously, it's going to kill us. I have to think of something and soon just to make ends meet. Honestly I know everyone is feeling this now. I knew we were only seeing the beginning of this thing and I am just wondering where it's going to leave us when it's over. I am ranting today and I think most people can sympathize because we have all been hit. This is going to be rough. I just hope we can somehow make it through this. I still have a holy ton of medical bills to pay off. I get new ones all the time. I guess I'll try and think of the positives and be glad we still have medical insurance.
