They turned out GREAT! Everyone loved them. I made Cherry Amaretto, Margarita, Fuzzy Navel and Jolly Rancher. They were awesome. I had only a few margarita and a couple Fuzzy Navel left at the end of the night. Apparently the Cherry Amaretto were freaking awesome. haha I have had requests for them at future parties.
Welcome!

Jello Shots You say?

Cut the Hot Dog...Not Your Finger.
So by the title you can tell what I did. Yeah I decided to make my daughter a hot dog for lunch and well I was going for the package actually. I opened the package with a knife. The knife accidentally cut a hot dog but I didn't care and kept cutting anyway. I cut through the hot dog and straight across my finger. OUCH. PAIN. That's what I get for being in a hurry. I think I broke my toe this past week too. My dog tripped me and I hit my toe on a wooden chest. It's a pretty purple color. That's better than the black color it was earlier this week. I'm on a roll!

P A R T Y??? Because I Gotta!!!!
Birthday party on Saturday. I have a lot of work to do, and jello shots to make but my husband turns 37 on Sunday. I am getting a party together and hoping it's a good turnout. We do know how to throw a good party. I have a paper to write and a test to study for, but whatever. I will get it all done somehow because it's what I do!
I am trying my hand at jello shots for the first time. I have had good ones, and horrible ones. I think sometimes if the alcohol is too strong they just make you want to puke. I don't see any reason a jello shot needs to be really powerful. You can't suck it down fast enough if it's too potent and people don't want to drink them. I plan on making them pretty light...so that people can have a lot and not realize they are getting drunk. *evil grin*
Well, on to paper writing!!!

This Is So Much Fun!
I love it, my kids love it. The look of it interests our guests too. It makes the hot dogs taste more like something you'd eat in a restaurant. I definitely recommend it. 4 stars because it didn't come with the crumb catcher. The process was VERY easy and they sent me one right away.

Short Month
It's hard to believe it's already March. I am SO ready for spring. It has been snowing in Illinois literally since November. Ok there were a few breaks in between but it didn't seem like much! I have never wanted winter gone so badly in my life. I have actually contemplated moving somewhere warm! Top this off with having to go out in the cold everyday to school and the extra traveling to see patients in their homes and yeah, I have had my fill of the cold weather.
I have been trying to post at least a few times a week, which gets hard with school. I was looking at when I lost posted which was the 25th. I couldn't believe I posted so long ago, then remembered, that wasn't all that long ago. It's a short month. I love February. I love seeing March arrive. It's not a bad day. The sun is shining and I'm READY for suntanning, margaritas and swimming pools!!!
Time to have a few parties too I'm thinking. :)
